The National Arts Council Arts Education Programme (NAC-AEP) develops initiatives that advocate the value and importance of arts education and appreciation among the young in schools. It connects the arts community with the education sector and supports the professional development of artists.
NAC-AEP aims to provide a pool of quality arts education programmes for schools so as to enhance and develop a life long interest in the arts from young.
Vivarch’s enrichment programmes under the NAC-Arts Education Programme are eligible for the Tote Board Arts Grant subsidy. Our approved programmes are assesed by a panel of arts and education experts, principals and officials from the Ministry of Education and the National Arts Council. With the endorsement, school can utilize the Tote Board Arts Grant offered annually: $3,000 to all Special Education Schools, $50,000 per ITE regional campus and $15,000 to all Primary and Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges, Centralised Institute.
Types of programmes under the NAC-AEP cover the Literary, Performing and Visual Arts and are categorised into three types: Arts Exposure, Arts Experience and Arts Excursion.
